OUR STEWART COUNTY TENNESSEE COMMUNITY
AND SURROUNDING AREAS

Graced by Lake Barkley to the east and the Kentucky Lake to the west, this region is as great as country living gets. There’s still plenty of land here offering a rich rural life to those who like the great outdoors. We have quality fishing and excellent hunting. We have great water for skiing and water sports near at hand, and quiet water for the more serene at heart. We are blessed with a rich cultural heritage, Fort Donelson National Park, Cross Creeks Wildlife Refugee, Land Between the Lakes Recreational area, asnd much, much more.. Many of our residents migrated here to enjoy this insurmountable beauty of the woodlands, the two lakes and plentiful green forests of this region. Come and live peacefully away from crowds and noise, and when the weekend comes you are already here!

Enjoy county living in Stewart County Tennessee. Much of the area is nestled between Kentucky Lake (Tennessee River) and Lake Barkley (Cumberland River) with an easy commute to big city excitement when you fill the need.

OTHER AMENITIES: While visitors are amazed at the history all around them, those fortunate enough to live in Stewart County enjoy all the luxuries of the 21st century. Within one hours drive you can be at nearby golf courses, municipal swimming pool, airport, colleges, a modern hospitals, and mass transit.

OTHER GREAT REASONS TO LIVE IN STEWART COUNTY:  Stewart County covers a tremendous area and many people who live here work close by.  But many, many people work up to 40 minutes or more away in Clarksville, Nashville, and Paris, Tennessee. Others work Fort Campbell, Murray, and Cadiz, Kentucky. Plus, there is a benefit to living in the Stewart County area:  The vacation-like ammenities of the Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, open countrysides, and a quiet small town living atmosphere that can still be found here.  Don't get us wrong, there is a booming new housing market in nearby larger cities, but you can get MORE FOR YOUR MONEY here  than closer to the city.  It's a trade off, as in life, but the lifestyle in Stewart County is well worth a look!
